A Yellow Celebration

I have been waiting for this picture so I can show it.
I love this yellow cake and decorations. It's so bright and happy. Usually I don't consider myself a yellow person, but this is a really good use of color.

I am probably not going to be able to post much over the next couple of days. I will be busy having the next few days off and hanging out with the fam:) I will probably be doing a lot of eating. And shopping. But only because I like shopping on my days off, not because I am running out at 4am to be the first to get some new toy or electronic device from Wal-Mart. You couldn't pay me to stand out with crazy ladies and cold weather. Happy Turkey Day!

Fall Legs

I saw this post on the Sartorialist-a fashion blog. I love her legs. I also love her great fall outfit. It's still bright, yet it can be for cold weather. You CAN wear white after Labor Day you know...

Martha Stewart Weddings

I was in the check out line yesterday at the store and I saw this beautiful cover of Martha Stewart Weddings. I love the way she does the covers of her magazines. I got a lot of my own inspiration for my wedding from her mags. I haven't figured out if it's her colors, art direction, or all of the above. But I always find myself drawn to her stuff.



I wanted to do something like this at my own wedding, but couldn't quite get it together. I love those turquoise Ball jars.

How absolutely adorable is this place?! It makes me so happy just looking at it. I wish, I wish, I wish we had stuff this charming around here. And if we do why on earth do I not know about it?

Christopher Baker

If any of you haven't noticed the blogs listed to the right, let me introduce you to Christopher Baker. I LOVE his stuff. He is one of the masterminds behind a lot of the great photography and cuteness in the Martha Stewart magazines. I want to be him someday....sigh

Our Halloween

I'm late at posting this, but take a look at those short shorts! Good thing Halloween only comes once a year. It's too much mustache for one night.
